Grandiose cosmic calligraphy

December 30, 2012: Declares intention to return to writing. Starts a new short. Submits all stories that are hanging around.

December 31, 2012: Sells short story "Skins" to AE: The Canadian Science Fiction Review.

Don't get me wrong: I know that I am actually hideously lucky to have sold a story in one day, and the day after I decided to end my semi-intentional hiatus from writing business to boot (and to a SFWA-approved market, no less). And never mind the fact that "Skins" has been making the rounds for nearly a year. But I'm just going to take this as a cue from the universe.
