Yesterday, the 20th of June, was the year anniversary of this blog. When I discovered this, I became very excited, although there is no particular reason that having blogged for such a length of time is inherently exciting. It is, I suspect, a bit like personal birthdays: the first few are exciting, but eventually, they get old.
Nonetheless, since I recently purchased a domain name - that's right, folks, www.bengodby.com, mark it in your browsers you faithful followers - I'm retroactively declaring that ten-dollar action Celebration. An anniversary present to myself, as it were. Thank goodness I'm a cheap date.
And anyway, it's been a good year. This blog has done reams of good for me, helping me meet new people, develop new skills including graphic design and not-swearing-slash-being-offensive-so-much, and provide a place to self-reflect upon my abilities and ambitions as a writer.
I shall certainly be continuing it. And remember: if you don't like my blog (read: America)...
